Trim your nails beforehand to avoid issues while molding clay.
Remove any jewelry before starting.
Don't forget to bring your own apron,
a 10-liter lidded container for transporting finished pieces,
a 5-liter lidded bucket for storing slurry and used clay for recycling.

We only charge for the clay you use, priced at $6 per kilogram.
$35 per kilograms for 2 firings including glaze application
Please note that these are starting prices and may vary depending on the dimensions of your pieces.

Week 1-2 - Introduction/throwing

Week 3 -Trimming

Week 4 -Throwing

Week 5 - Trimming

Week 6- Mainly glazing only. No throwing or trimming on the day

Please note that the drying and turnaround time for your pieces to be fired depends on the weather. Typically, it takes 3-6 weeks for your pieces to dry and be bisque fired. The bisque firing process itself takes 48 hours to reach the required temperature and cool down. After that, you will glaze your pieces, and the glaze firing will also take 48 hours. Firing schedules are dependent on when the kiln is full and pieces are bone dried. This is not something we can expedite. If your pieces from week 4, trimmed in week 5, are not ready for glazing by week 6, we will notify you and ask you to come back on a Thursday evening to glaze the remaining pieces.
