Paradiso Is a Four Piece Band Based in Dunedin. They Perform the Music of Joy Division, the Internationally Influential Band from Salford, Manchester, England.
The Band Consists of John Kiernan-sear Lead Vocals), Chris Edwards Lead Guitar), Peter Whigham Bass Guitar) and Tama Anthony-whigham Percussion).
The Band Name Paradiso Is a Nod to Joy Division and in Particular Is Derived from One of Their Last Live Recordings on Th January 1980 at the Paradiso Club in Amsterdam. The Lead Singer of Joy Division, Ian Curtis, Suffered from Mental Illness and Sadly Committed Suicide on Th May 1980. The Paradiso Club Recording Stands, to This Day, As the Honest Influence and True Performance Style of Joy Division.

Other Voices Are a Christchurch Based 4 Piece Post-punk and Indie Covers Band.
Featuring Penny Cain on Vocals/guitar/keyboards, Linda Baran on Bass, Nick Ford on Guitar/keyboards and Wade Byers on Drums/samples.
Performing Solidly over the Last 5 Years Other Voices Have Built up a Loyal Following and Regularly Sell out Shows.
Special Events Featuring the Music of the Cure & Siouxsie and the Banshees Have Proved Extremely Popular in the Garden City.

Other Voices are excited to (finally) take this show on the road and join forces with Paradiso to bring you an evening of classic post-punk music from 3 of the UK's most iconic alternative bands.
