Join us for a One-day Meditation Retreat in Nelson!
We constantly run in our daily lives. Here we have an opportunity to immerse ourselves in a day of introspection and relaxation at the Koru Centre on Trafalgar Street. This retreat is designed to help us concentrate, relax, and reconnect with our inner selves.
We will explore different practices to develop single-pointed concentration and awareness of the breath, and to open the heart. We will alternate sitting sessions with gentle movements and yoga to bring awareness to the body.
Open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike, this retreat offers a supportive and welcoming environment for all.
We suggest bringing your own lunch.
The facilitator
Francesco has been exploring diverse contemplative practices including meditation for more than a decade with a focus on Tibetan Buddhism. He intends to share useful techniques that come from ancient traditions in a way that doesn't involve any religious belief.
