Fresh off the back of their sold-out European tour No Cigar are announcing their debut foray across New Zealand shores & across the ditch for Australia. Off the tail wind of their debut album ‘Bienvenido’ the band are looking forward to sharing their live sound & new album ‘The Great Escape’ with their fans across New Zealand & Australia. An album that was designed for the live-experience these shows won’t be ones to miss.

Featuring Willy Ferrier’s signature laid back vocals, expert songwriting and the bands effortlessly cool tones, the album comes after five single releases in four months, including hits, ‘Make it Better’, ‘The Vibrance’, ‘Concubine’, ‘Cool’ & ‘These are the days’.

Made with support from NZ On Air, ‘The Great Escape’ was recorded at Roundhead Studios after the band spent a month away in Mangawhai, Produced and mixed by Connor Jaine (Mako Road, Flaxxies, Casper, Summer Thieves, Dolphin Friendly), and mastered in the UK by Andy Miles, the single delves into new sonic territory, showcasing the breadth of No Cigar’s sound. The Great Escape is a product of a process where ideas flow freely and connections & left up to the 1% required for a beautifully executed body of work.

Since the band’s inception in 2019 , the boys have grown a fiercely loyal fanbase while dodging lockdowns, playing sold out shows at They have already surpassed over 5 million streams on Spotify alone with 150,000+ monthly listeners.
