TOPIC: Effects of Screen Time, Including Pornography, and how Parents Manage it Effectively

Screen time, social media and pornography are three of the biggest issues facing today's parents - and all three topics are not one’s parents had to face themselves as children, so we often feel out of our depth and overwhelmed by.

Is there an ideal amount of screen time that allows us the advantages of technology without the associated risks to mental wellbeing?

How do we help our children navigate the world of social media with the limited experience we bring to it? When extreme Pornography can be available to our children on a continuous basis, how do we teach them the intricate skills of real intimacy in relationships?

Within the mountain of research findings about the risks our current generation of children are exposed to, there are also some solutions and evidence-based guidelines that help and support parents.

Nathan will discuss (in his easy to understand and straight from the hip style) these solutions and how best to implement them.
