Capital Harmony Chorus sing mainly 4 part acappella in the barbershop style with a side helping of free harmony and ukuleles at their longer performances. They are a friendly bunch of 23 women who rehearse every Monday night at Wilton Bowling Club. They learn new skills and add to their wide repertoire of songs old and new, all with an emphasis on creating harmonies and sharing stories. Some of the chorus have been singing together for 20 years while others are more newly welcomed; their oldest performer is 82 and their youngest is 27. Their current musical themes are friendship, having fun and the wonders (and weather) of our beautiful world, and these are reflected in their performances.

Meet at the Begonia House - entry by donation towards the Begonia House refurbishment. Free seating for Friends.

This is part of the monthly music series run by the Friends of the Wellington Botanic Garden. Join the Friends for only $30 a year and all the concerts will be free, as well as other great benefits. https://friendsofthewellingtonbotanic.wordpress.com/join-us/
