Each month, Toitū and the Centre for Global Migrations, University of Otago, invite different speakers to highlight the stories of Otago’s wide and varying migrant history. From early Māori-European encounters to modern refugees, and everyone in between, this series will barely break the surface on our region’s rich history of migration.

This July, Dr Zeina Al Naasan, School of Biomedical Sciences, speaks about the experiences of dental care in the Syrian refugee community.

2pm, Friday 26 July
