Are you interested in studying in Japan? The MEXT Scholarships are a Japanese Government funded full-ride scholarship available to NZ/Cook Islands/Niue to study at a Japanese university of your choice at undergraduate or postgraduate level! For Cook Islanders and Niueans only, the National Institute of Technology (Kosen) and the Specialised Training College Programmes are available.
Return flights to Japan, all course fees, and a monthly stipend for living costs will be covered for the entirety of the scholarship period, which can range from 2-7 years depending on your field of study.
For information on the benefits offered, instructions for how to apply, and the chance to hear from a previous MEXT scholar, come to the Embassy of Japan in Wellington on Friday 10 May, from 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm and hear about the opportunities available to study in Japan!
For those who are interested but unable to come to the Embassy, the Information Session will also be online. Follow the link below to register, and we'll send you a link to join on the day! We will accept registrations until 12:00pm on the day of the Information Session.
