May The 4th Be With You 2024

Join Palmy BID in celebrating all things Star Wars at Downtown. This event will not only feature a night market, but also a Star Wars cosplay parade and a special screening of ‘Episode I – The Phantom Menace’ at Event Cinema.
Come and check it all out:

Night Market: 4.00pm – 7.30pm
Featuring live music, local stallholders, Star Wars themed treats, family-friendly entertainment, a photobooth, facepainting & much more!

Star Wars Parade & Presentation: 7.30pm – 8.30pm
Watch Star Wars cosplay characters put on a bit of a show throughout the Centre & see who snaps up the “Best Dressed” award for 2024 (details further below)

Star Wars Movie: 8.30pm
It’s the 25th Anniversary of ‘Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace”! Event Cinema is screening the movie at 8.30pm, following the market & parade, so why not finish off the night in front of the big screen!? Make sure to purchase your tickets for the movie here:

Costumes & Cosplay encouraged - pull out your best Storm Trooper outfit, your Yoda onesie or your Darth Vader kit and you may be awarded the 'Best Dressed' award
*Note: Winner of the best dressed award must still be on site at the event between 7.30-8.30pm to collect their prize
