Marlborough Orienteering Club Winter Series Training

The Marlborough Orienteering Club's Winter Rogaine Series will be held on Tuesday evenings, using the MapRun app. To help prepare people who are new to the sport, we are hosting four Free training sessions on what MapRun is, explaining how it works using on either your phone or smart watch. There will be several people available to help out at these training sessions. Sessions will cover some basics including reading map features and symbols, basic navigation tips and what to expect and do when arriving at an event. We will also have a small rogaine course using a printed paper map for you to have a go and practice using the app. Registrations are essential.
