Mahi With Ahi - Introduction To Weaving Workshop

Connect to Māori tradition through Raranga weaving with Ahi Nyx. Ahi offers a safe space to talk about rongoā harakeke, the healing powers of harakeke, and caring for our natural environment. Weaving techniques will then be introduced as participants make their own pāraerae, Māori sandals.

Koha/ donations are appreciated to attend this free event. Children aged 6-12 need to be accompanied by one parent during the session. Participants aged 12 and above, including adults, can register and participate independently.
