Come for a fun, interactive and informative tour of Kohuora Park and wetland in Papatoetoe.

Open to all ages, the 90 minute guided walking tour will include fascinating information about the park’s geology, history, animals, ecology and wetland restoration. Hear about current efforts to regenerate this beautiful park, learn what the plan is for this project and how you can be involved.

This tour is guided by a past neighbour of the park and current conservation advisor for the local area. Meet at the far end of the carpark.

This event is part of EcoFest, an annual month-long festival taking place Friday 15 March – Sunday 14 April 2024. Inspiring climate action across Tāmaki Makaurau, it is hosted in collaboration by EcoMatters, Kaipātiki Project, Beautification Trust and Waiheke Resources Trust, and proudly supported by Auckland Council.
