Immerse yourself in the world of plant medicine! Join us for an afternoon walk through the botanical gardens, followed by a delicious afternoon tea and botanical infusion workshop at the learning pavilion.
Learn the ways of traditional Herbalism. Meet at Begonia house and wander through the Botanical Gardens to observe, discuss and forage a selection of medicinal plants before stopping at the learning pavilion for afternoon tea, prepared by our friends at the Oatery.
Finish the afternoon with a fresh brew of foraged herbs and an informative herbal medicine workshop. Learn about the properties of a range of medicine herbs for wellbeing and discover the benefits of herbal infusions. Create your own botanical infusion in local organic apple cider vinegar to take home.
When - Sunday, March 10th, 1pm.
Duration - 3 hours: Walk 60 - 90 Minutes, Afternoon tea 30 Minutes, herbal vinegar infusion manufacturing 60 - 90 Minutes.
Where - Wellington Botanical Gardens, 101 Glenmore Street, Thornton, Wellington.
Cost - $140 Per Person, includes afternoon tea.
All profit from this workshop will be donated to the Botanical Gardens to support the ongoing growth and development of the Fragrant Garden.

Manami, your host, loves experimenting and manufacturing herbal medicines. She is passionate about sharing the knowledge of using herbs in different ways to incorporate into our daily life. With her expertise in herbal medicine, she will help you to create a special vinegar infusion to suit your taste and support your wellbeing.
Cancellation Policy
If you would like to cancel your workshop ticket, please do so within 48 hours of your workshop date for a full refund of your ticket price. If you cancel within 48 hours of your workshop date your workshop ticket price will only be refunded if we can fill your place. Thanks for understanding.
