Hunua Repair Shop Family or Friends Day

The Hunua repair shop is held once a month and it's happening on Sunday, 3rd March 10am-3pm.
Where: Tree Heart Park, 66 Head Rd, Hunua. "The place where time stands still"

We want you to take a little time out with the family or a friend, go for a drive in the country and enjoy time at the park. All you have to do is bring that item in the cupboard for fixing that has been calling to you for the last year .. "I'm still here."

The old, the loved, the useful whether mechanical, electronic, gadget or gardening thingy we'll give it a go, even clothes for repair or stain removal.We do charge but we try to keep the charges minimal to support the repair and recycle process.

While you are here at the park, take a stroll around the Lagoon of the Star Children (Te Hapua o Matariki, breathe in the fresh air and the view,or simply enjoy a free tea or coffee at Tree Heart headquarters and perhaps you might like a little retail therapy in the Tree Heart Park shop with botanical and New Zealand natural lines.

Don't forget to bring the story with those slightly vintage goods and if you would like to write your story of the item in our journal we would be thrilled... we love your stories. Remember the walking shoes and the sun hat if you are a walker. See you Sunday.
