What do 27% of NZers all have in common? They were born overseas. Here Now is a weekly podcast featuring their NZ experience across broad topics, identities and perspectives. Here Now is all about people who are exactly that – here now.

Join RNZ producer and host of Here Now (formerly Voices) Kadambari Raghukumar in this live podcast as part of PodFest at Q where she talks to special guests Jacob Rajan and Pedro Ilgenfritz on the magic of masks.

Jacob Rajan is the award-winning playwright, actor and cofounder of Indian Ink Theatre, and has been making theatre for over 25 years. Dr Pedro Ilgenfritz is a Brazilian theatre practitioner and academic, passionate about mask training and performance. He has directed Tea For Two Valentines Special, which is showing 7-10 February as a part of Summer at Q.

Here Now has a new episode every Monday on podcast platforms, RNZ's website and as part of Afternoons with Jesse Mulligan on RNZ National at 3:30pm on Mondays. See more about the podcast at www.rnz.co.nz/herenow.

Here Now was previously titled Voices. In 2023, Voices won three bronze awards at the NZ Podcast Awards and was a finalist in Best Weekly Factual category in the NZ Radio Awards.
