The venue, Ahipao, lies on the shores of Matiatia Bay and is a stunning setting for the popular GOOD FRIDAY GROOVE, featuring an all-star line-up including NZ music icons GREG JOHNSON, WHITE CHAPEL JAK, the BIG TASTY, DEVON WELCH and Wellington’s CRASH BANDIHOOT.
The venue is fully licensed with artisan food stalls and is just a stone's throw from Matiatia Wharf, meaning transport and parking are no issue. An easy ferry ride from Auckland, the GOOD FRIDAY GROOVE is a great day-trip experience.
Ahipao is an outdoor venue with lawn seating. Some shade is provided. We recommend you bring a blanket or fold-up chair if you wish.
