Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre Open Day

Come and see behind the scenes at the Playhouse Theatre, Glen Eden.

As part of the MTNZ Open Theatre Weekend, we are opening the doors of the historic Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre to the public for an Open Day on Sat 2nd March 10am-2pm. You can tour the theatre, see behind the scenes, learn how the theatre runs and visit the backstage areas. Or explore the costume department and try on different looks. Meet some of PTI's amazing volunteers and youth members and talk to the different departments. It is also your chance to see the Wurlitzer console and the work done so far to get the pipe organ up and running and talk to the team behind the restoration. Free facepainting for the kids.
