The Garden City Orchestra is a community orchestra that prides itself on having fun while making music together!
This concert's focus is on "Suites" - pronounced "sweets" - which are collections of short musical pieces, often based on dances.
We'll be presenting a range of music from Bizet's Carmen Suite, to Sibelius' Karelia Suite, to "Everybody Wants to be a Cat" from the movie The Aristocats. We also have a special guest joining us: Cantabile Choir.
During the intermission, we'll be hosting our famous home-baked afternoon tea - koha donation.
