Francophone Film Festival 2024 - Closing Night - La Boum

Alliance Française Palmerston North is proud to introduce the 2024 Edition of the Francophone Film Festival in celebration of French Language and Francophonie Week in New Zealand.

This comedy, La Boum (The Party), will be screened on Sunday 17 March at 6 pm at The Globe Theatre, 312 Main St, Palmerston North.

The screening of this film is a NZ PREMIERE.

The iconic French movie from the 1980s about a teenage girl’s experiences while her parents grapple with midlife crisis.

Tickets for the closing night can be purchased from the Globe Theatre. General admission $35, AF members $25. Tickets include a complimentary glass of wine, canapés and petit fours.

Welcome cocktail from 6 pm. The movie starts at 6.30 pm.

Screening in French with English subtitles.
