Join us to listen to Dr Sarah Lamar talk about the Freddies in your backyard and take us on a tour of Wellington's reptiles and amphibians.

We will discuss the lizards, frogs, and tuatara of Wellington and some of the conservation actions being taken in the region. We will also discuss ways you can help improve conservation outcomes for these species in your own backyard.

Dr Lamar is a herpetologist who specialises in tuatara and frog ecophysiology but has worked more broadly in the reptile and amphibian spheres in New Zealand.

She is based out of Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington and sits on the council of the Society for Research on Reptiles and Amphibians in New Zealand.

Door open from 6.30 pm - join us for a cuppa before the talk.
