Fiddle and Folk Quartet

At the base of Mauao, a beautiful journey has begun, where local folk have gathered to celebrate life with uplifting string music. 

Come join us for a story, that will bless your heart and uplift your soul. Featuring folk and fiddle music from Denmark, Sweden, Scotland, Germany and classical music from Italy; we have created a unique experience with our Bay of Plenty local string players Jackie, Janet, Rosalie and Gloria together to bring more of the arts to our local folk.

To round off a wonderful evening, we have a performance of The Lark Ascending played by Gloria White on violin and Jono Dunlop on piano.This breath-taking work by Vaughan Williams is wonderful to listen to. Jono Dunlop is a renown pianist and will also be performing some amazing solo piano works.
