Festival of Frights - Halloween at the Village

As part of the Festival of Frights 2024, Howick Historical Village presents this fun, family-friendly Halloween at the Village experience!

Trick-or-treat your way around the Victorian Village, but beware of the fiendish and frightening villagers!

Explore the decorated grounds, complete our Halloween scavenger hunt or visit the sweet shop filled with old-fashioned lollies and fudge.

Grab your costumes and come straight from school!

There are outdoor picnic areas, and BYO food is encouraged! Please note that the Homestead Café will be open until 7pm, however there will be no food trucks in the Village.

Disclaimer – While this event allows children to experience Halloween early in a safe environment, discretion is advised. The content, decorations and entertainment may be scary. It is the parents’ responsibility to decide if this event is suitable for their children.

Pre-booking is advised! Door sales will be limited. Children under 14 must be accompanied.

Note: this event proceeds RAIN OR SHINE. If wet come along with your cloaks and umbrellas to take in the spooktacular sights! Tickets are non-refundable.
