How are penguin eyes different to those of other animals?
Join ophthalmologist Francesc March de Ribot and friends for an exciting talk about the eyes of penguins!
Vision is crucial for penguins, impacting their survival and behaviour. Adapted for underwater navigation, penguins rely on unobstructed vision to hunt efficiently and avoid predators while at sea. Their keen eyesight, adapted for low light conditions, aids in spotting prey during ocean dives.
There will be six, quick five-minute sessions from vision experts with time for questions at the end.
2pm, Monday 22 April
