The Classic : Comedy Club in association with Brett Vincent at Get Comedy UK presents
Emmanuel Sonubi : Curriculum Vitae
Live in Auckland/ 3 nights only / Thu 25 to Sat 27 Jan.

Emmanuel Sonubi is all over the UK Pro comedy circuit. Having sold out his run at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe he will be embarking on an extensive National Tour in 2024 but not before he enjoys a holiday downunder visiting family in Australia.

The Classic team have enioyed a long association with Emmanuel's UK management, Brett Vincent at Get Comedy, so we have invited Emmanuel to Auckland for a short visit on Anniversary Weekend in January where he will perform his acclaimed solo show, 'Curriculum Vitae', exclusively at our home of live comedy over 3 nights.

This brand-new show takes us through a hilarious and heartfelt story that explores all the jobs that Emmanuel has had before becoming a comedian and how those experiences helped shape his comedic voice.

Recently seen on Q.I., Alan Davies As Yet Untitled, Apprentice 'You're Fired' and headlined Live at the Apollo. Emmanuel’s 2022 show Emancipated sold out and was a Fringe smash-hit, and this is already shaping up to be a show not to miss.

London based Emmanuel Sonubi's career in Comedy started only a few years ago and quickly grew from strength to strength earning himself a reputation as "one to watch out for". A regular favourite on the live comedy circuit, he has become one of the most sought after acts working today. Emmanuel’s credits continue to grow as does his popularity with audiences around the world.

"One of my favourite discoveries of the year, was Emmanuel Sonubi. Hilarious, warm and unique. If you don't see him now for a tenner, you won't be able to smugly tell your mates about it when they're paying £50 for a crap seat at the O2" – Jason Manford

"The bloke has got funny bones" – Romesh Ranganathan

“Side-splittingly funny. Roaring laughs” – Independent

“Big laughs, engaging tales, you’re seduced by the easy authority of his storytelling” – The Guardian
