Celebrating top student works from the Auckland art schools!
Launched in 2016 by the Eden Arts Trust and generously hosted once again this year by Webb's Auction House in Mt Eden, the Eden Arts Award brings together the Central Auckland art schools in a single exhibition under one roof. Five undergraduates are nominated by each school - AUT, Elam, Unitec and Whitecliffe - and invited to submit work which is then judged (anonymously) by an independent judging panel appointed by the Eden Arts Trust. Over $8000 in prize money is on offer to selected students.
The award exhibition promises an exciting and true glimpse into the art practices of tomorrow's new artists. Open for viewing - everyone welcome!
