Are you a local Auckland artist? Unleash your creative eco-warrior with the EcoFest 2024 Mural Competition!

For the duration of EcoFest, we are on the lookout for an amazing eco-themed artwork design to be chosen for a mural on a high-visibility electrical cabinet. This cabinet, located in Wiri, has been the target of graffiti vandalism and is in need of a colourful spruce up. Enter EcoFest 2024 Mural Competition – your chance to be chosen to transform this cabinet from drab infrastructure to a vibrant piece of art!

The winning artwork will be chosen by Wiri Business Association and the Beautification Trust, and the successful artist will receive:
- A chance to paint their design on this high-visibility Chorus cabinet
- $1700 cash prize
- A reimbursement of up to $150 for paint and painting materials

This event is part of EcoFest, an annual month-long festival taking place Friday 15 March – Sunday 14 April 2024. Inspiring climate action across Tāmaki Makaurau, it is hosted in collaboration by EcoMatters, Kaipātiki Project, Beautification Trust and Waiheke Resources Trust, and proudly supported by Auckland Council. Visit ecofest.org.nz and join us!
