Do A Duathlon

Announcing the newly created 'Do A Duathlon Series- Marton NZ' which will kick off in Term 1 of 2024.
It will be held over 4 consecutive Wednesday evenings afterschool. There will be different length courses for all age groups from 5 years through to 12 years and even and 'Open' event so teens and adults can get amongst the fun!

Dates will be: 14th Feb, 21st Feb, 28th Feb, 6th March. Mark these in your calendar now and come and join the community in what will be the 'active social event of the week'!

Distances will be approximately:
5/6 years- 400m run, 800m ride, 200m run
7/8 years- 800m run, 1.2km ride, 200m run
9/10 years- 900m run, 1.5km ride, 200m run
11/12 years- 2km run, 3km ride, 400m run
Open- 2km run, 4.5km ride, 400m run
Please note that road bikes are not suitable, mountain bikes must be used.

Thanks to Rangitīkei District Council we will be offering medals to all those that participate in 3 or more of the events.
