Deep Relaxation - Yoga Nidra may be the upcoming event you’re looking for.

Need a restful sleep or need to truly relax?  Try this easy guided meditation practice from the comfort of your own home. Yoga Nidra mimics the brain waves that you experience when you are entering sleep - calming, restorative, suggestive, healing. Relax the body to relax the mind: This easy, guided awareness practice is usually done lying down but can be done sitting up too. 


No experience necessary - suitable for all bodies and experiences. 


Life just feels a little easier when you practice Yoga Nidra regularly. You tend to respond to things rather than react. This practice can also provide relief for conditions like stress, chronic fatigue, long-Covid, adrenal fatigue and overwhelm. For many of us, bodies and minds need a break from life so we can cope with life better. Yoga Nidra provides that opportunity. It’s truly a special practice.

Much of yoga isn’t about strenuous poses, or even any action. The ‘action’ takes place in rest and stillness.

During this 40-45-minute guided practice online, you are taken through a settling-in period, then a body rotation to give the mind something to do, and then a focus on your breath, an experience of opposite sensations to train the mind to let go, and you end in a lovely visualisation.

This practice is scientifically proven to bring about a deep release of physical and mental tensions.

How to prepare: This is best done using ear pods, but can also be done using your phone or laptop speaker. Wear comfortable clothes. If you have any illenss or condition where you need monitoring or it is not safe to lie down for 45 mniutes, please consult your doctor.
