Community gardens are the hidden gems of our city. If you’ve ever wondered what happens at a community garden and how you can get involved, Open Sundays are your chance to find out.
Community Gardens in eastern Wellington will be welcoming visitors on Sunday 21 April, 10am – 3pm.
Participating gardens are:
- Te Kawakawa Commons, 46 Hornsey Rd, Melrose
- Lyall Bay Community Garden, 67 Freyberg St, Lyall Bay
- Miramar Prison Garden, 1 Main Rd, Miramar
- Miramar & Maupuia Community Centre, 27 Chelsea St, Miramar
