Join our expert ecologist and form a band of trusty volunteers to make an impact in your nature-hood. Help us regenerate this important coastal ecosystem, stop the spread of pest plants and animals, and protect this space as a habitat for seabirds and other edge-loving native species. Coastal reserves play a critical role in nature, and have become disastrously rare worldwide! Clearwater Cove Reserve is a treat to spend time playing and working in, as we carry out vital conservation work to maintain and regenerate the ecosystem here.

This event is part of EcoFest, an annual month-long festival taking place Friday 15 March – Sunday 14 April 2024. Inspiring climate action across Tāmaki Makaurau, it is hosted in collaboration by EcoMatters, Kaipātiki Project, Beautification Trust and Waiheke Resources Trust, and proudly supported by Auckland Council.
