Join us in the Tower Room for a festive day of crafty fun.
Rabbits have a strong association with the Moon Festival. This link originates from Chinese folklore, particularly the tale of Chang'e, a beautiful woman who drank an elixir of immortality and ascended to the moon. Legend has it that she was accompanied on her lunar journey by a rabbit.
Create your own rabbit friends to join you on adventures around Lan Yuan. Try your hand at a beginner-friendly sewing project perfect for the young and young at heart or make your own paper bunny or rabbit ears.
10am – 3pm, Saturday 28 September
Lan Yuan Tower Room
The craft activities are free but standard garden entry fees apply
