Canvastown Yoga runs a Yin Yoga class on Monday nights and a Hatha flow class on Thursday. Yin yoga involves holding poses for 3-5 minutes with slow movement to target the Yin tissues in the body. Hatha flow is a more energetic yoga class that uses movement and strength to stretch the body.
The class is mixed level. Anyone who is interested in trying yoga is welcome to attend. My name is Susan Foster and I run the class. I have practised yoga since 1998 and completed yoga teacher training at Kindred Studio in April 2022.
