Cue Theatre brings "Burning Bridges" by Amy Shindler to the stage, directed by Sharren Read. The experienced cast of Jasmine Gallagher, Briar Tucker, Josh McKee and Regan Tate are breathing life into their characters whilst crafting a truly entertaining story. Kate, and Dan (born in the 90s), are professional colleagues and newlyweds. They invite Kate’s younger sister, Sarah, who is autistic for a two week visit. However Sarah has some major surprises for them and things quickly spin out of control.
Life quickly spirals into a nightmare of accusation and intrigue.

‘Burning Bridges’ explores issues surrounding autism such as sensory overload, obsession and difficulty forming relationships. It looks at other issues like gender politics at work and home and how do you prioritise childcare if you and your partner are equally professionally committed? Dark, intense with humour, it is one of those plays that will entertain you and make you think about things you didn’t know you needed to think about.
