You are warmly invited to attend an Artist Talk by Vinita Khanna, currently showing in the Small gallery with her exhibition Charting the Present and Imponderabilia.
Vinita will talk about the evolution of her eclectic art practice over the last four decades.
Including what made possible the unusual exhibition at the Waiheke art gallery where she has displayed two types of paintings and ideologies across from one another.

Saturday 20 April 3pm here in the Gallery.
Vinita Khanna is an Indian born artist whose work has been exhibited internationally including prestigious venues like the Tate Modern, Victoria and Albert Museum and Somerset House in London.
She holds a Master of Fine Arts from Goldsmiths College University of London (1999).
Vinita's works include a range of media including painting, collage, sculpture and poetry.

In this collection of works she explores the notion of 'progress' through a collection of military prints and abstract painting. This is her first exhibition in New Zealand.
