April Holiday Art 2024: Week 1

Drop in with your kids to make art that surprises and inspires.

10.30am – 12.30pm -  Free - Ages 4+
Kids bring an adult - All materials are provided - No booking required

Week 1
Mon 15 April - Taonga puoro:
Play with traditional Māori instruments, talk about loved ones and how music supports us to remember and honour whānau that have come before us.

Tues 16 April - Bird puppets:
Construct a manu shadow puppet to fly across a sky of projected light.

Wed 17 April - Energy box:
Make an energy sculpture box, experiment with light and colour and project your art onto the wall to make it big.

Thurs 18 April - Graffiti art:
Make your own graffiti art, have fun using stencils and collage to write your name.

Fri 19 April - Over Under diorama:
Construct a mini landscape from sticks, stones and sand to show what’s below our feet.
