In collaboration with Porirua City Nursery, Akeake seedlings and shrubs will be available for purchase from Pātaka and Porirua City Nursery throughout Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori. Plant one at home to celebrate your Māori language journey.

The name Akeake tree is a symbol of Te Wiki o Te reo Māori. Akeake meaning “for ever for ever”, has been used in rongoā (medicinal traditions) through to hardwood for making taiaha and patu.
