2024 Matariki hāngī and Night Walk

Mānawatia a Matariki! Mānawatia a Matariki! Nau mai haere mai to a family friendly evening of kai and connection! Celebrate Matariki with a community hāngī, try your hand at harakeke weaving, and rug up to join DOC rangers on a Matariki night walk! Spaces are limited, so bookings are essential. Please note: The night time nature walk is a 30-45 minute time commitment suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It is an easy walk, but will involve uneven footing, sloping ground and walking in low light. Please ensure all members of your group have appropriate clothes and footwear for the conditions.
