Celebrate the beginning of the 2023 grape harvest season by spending a day enjoying some of the best wine, food and entertainment Wairarapa has to offer.

Tickets for the ever-popular Wairarapa Wines Harvest Festival are usually snapped up super quick! To meet the huge demand, the committee of wineries have decided to add a second day to the 2023 festival. You now have the choice of purchasing a ticket for either Friday 17 or Saturday 18 February.

The offering on both days will follow the same format, just with a different line up of great bands as the stunning riverside, rural setting once again comes alive with glorious Wairarapa wines, epic sounds, and fabulous local food.

The festival will be held at the beautiful, sheltered riverside setting locally known as ‘The Cliffs' on the banks of the Ruamahunga River at the end of Dakins Road in rural Wairarapa. Its remoteness and vineyard setting is part of its appeal while still being close to public transport.

Being 10 minutes from both Masterton and Carterton makes the site easily accessible to local and visitors to the district alike. A regional shuttle service will run to and from the festival site at the beginning and end of the day with an additional service meeting the scheduled Wellington train at the Carterton Railway Station. Reservations are essential, you can add this to your ticket when you purchase.

Wineries at this years’ event include: Alexia, Big Sky Wines, Butterworth Estate, Cambridge Road Vineyard, Columbo Martinborough, Fairmont Estate, Gladstone Vineyard, Huntress, Johner Estate, Le Gra Vineyard & Winery, Matahiwi Estate, Nga Pari, Urlar
