Vases for My Ex Lovers

~ first solo exhibition ~
Cobi tfj Bosch. south African born in 1985; the youngest of four siblings, raised in the small village of Steynsrus in free state. both of his parents are teachers by trade, however his mum is magical with any type of needle work, has green fingers and is a natural story teller, whilst dad is a woodworker and self taught painter.

an artist at heart, gracefully provocative and an introvert romantic. in 2021 he found a new love for pottery. he prefers hand building to throwing on the wheel- there is something about allowing the clay to shape your emotions and thoughts. as a young homosexual he is influenced by his experiences and upbringing within a traditional belief system & all of the mess, love and joy that comes in between.
his work includes storytelling by integrating mediums such as writing, sewing, embroidery, flowers and ceramics.
