Upsewing Extravaganza Competition

Taranaki Timebank invites you to join our Extravaganza Competition! We’ll be showcasing South Taranaki’s Upsewing talent with a total prize pool of $1,000 for top designs across four categories.

Join our workshops for ideas, mentoring, resources and use our machines to create your upsewing fashion masterpiece to enter our runway show! Our focus is to reduce textile waste in landfills & to share the sustainable fashion story, so entries will be made from at least 80% upcycled/recycled and natural textiles.

Local sewers, kaitoi, knitters, weavers, & upcycling creatives, Nau mai all welcome!
