Our final event for Madison Kelly’s exhibition toko by and by will be toko talks, a performance of the work toko toko toko toko by Ōtepoti based artists.

Comprising 62 etched aluminium pipes, toko toko toko toko offers visitors an opportunity to navigate, play, and listen to the early December tides of 2022. Now, many months and tides later, Madison has invited Ōtepoti musicians Gabe Griffin, Lainie Henderson, Liam Clune, and Motoko Kikkawa to respond and play together in a closing performance. The performance will include new percussive materials generously supplied by Mya Morrison-Middleton.

This event is free to attend and all ages are welcome.

No registrations required.
