Tī kōuka Whisk Brush Workshops

Learn how to make your own Tī kōuka whisk brush, perfect for sweeping up your crafting debris. In this workshop you will learn our string-making technique to make a strong, even length of tī kōuka (cabbage tree) leaf cordage. This will then used to bind the prepared tī kōuka fibres into a whisk-style hand broom.

Please note: All materials and tools will be provided. But, if you have access to tī kōuka (cabbage tree) leaves, do bring in as big a bundle as you can! Also bring an intention or job for your brush and if time allows we can work to tweak the brush for the specific job.
