This Silent Divide celebrate the release of their new single 'Beautiful Creature' with a release show at Meow in Wellington, with support from Secrets of the Sun + Dave and the Dirty Humans. Presale tickets $15+bf from moshtix.co.nz. Door open 730pm, first band 8pm.

This Silent Divide
Rock band This Silent Divide are regulars on the Wellington live music scene and meld driving drums, wall-of-sound guitars and melodic overtones to create catchy, high-energy songs.
2021 singles 'Lucinda' and 'Don't Give Up' received radio play at a range of independent radio stations across the country and 2023 has seen the band play a range of shows, including the iconic CubaDupa festival.

‘Beautiful Creature’ was recorded at Wellington’s Surgery Studios, produced by Toby Lloyd (Sea Mouse, Hollie Smith) and mastered in Germany by Robin Schmidt (Placebo, Arctic Monkeys, Pixes, Royal Blood).

Reviews of Beautiful Creature:
“This Silent Divide have an anthemic approach to their music, and they often remind me of the mighty Dead Favours". "They have again produced a neatly polished single packed with hooks and energy which is going to turn into a monster when played live. I can’t wait to hear that." Kev Rowland - Muzic.net.nz

"This Silent Divide's melodies are insanely catchy, the drums hit so hard and the riffs are huge! They are definitely showcasing just how good Rock Music can sound in 2023!”
Toby Lloyd - Tiny Triumph Recordings

Support at the show comes from Wellington bands Secrets of the Sun and Dave and the Dirty Humans.

Secrets of the Sun have charmed with their dark, ethereal melodies and heavy soundscapes. Refusing to be held down to one genre, Secrets of the Sun use their music as an opportunity to explore sounds and styles with inspiration from a multitude of sources. Their 2021 album "Obon" provides an honest journey through different aspects of the human psyche and modern society. Following a story-like structure, the album sweeps through heavy riffs, pop hooks, and ambient soundscapes.

Dave and the Dirty Humans are a frenetic 4-piece alt-rock band. Their infectious riffs and groovy songs will levitate you and soften your heart. Dave has been likened to many things, but chief among them is a good time.
