Celebrating Hawke’s Bay’s locally grown music in our local halls, we bring you three extraordinary artists. First up tonight we have de Lune - Experimental multi-instrumentalist de Lune creates intimate soundscapes with ethereal vocals, bowed guitar and analogue effects. Danica Bryant, Deliciously sweet yet shockingly bitter” (UTR), Danica Bryant is no ordinary songwriter. A pop- folk musician with a gritty rock edge, Bryant's sharp lyricism, “hard guitar and pain-filled howl” (The Hook NZ) boasts national may national accolades. With two major music releases, a nationwide tour achieved, and an opening slot for Elton John, Danica’s star is on the rise. “Venomous” yet “passionate” (Ambient Light), “cynical but emotional” (NZ Musician). Ebony Lamb With a sparse songwriting style that evokes the bare hills of Hawke’s Bay and with a voice that can rattle the stones on the beach at Whirinaki, Ebony was born & bred in Hastings. Her musical career has been stellar, with three albums recorded with her band, Eb & Sparrow, and now much anticipated a solo album produced alongside Bic Runga and Kodi Nielson. Her sound is distinctive and genre- defying. Imagine a world where Marianne Faithful, Ennio Morricone and Patsy Cline blend together. With three great musical acts, a bar offering local wines & beer, inexpensive wholesome meals, and the comradery of your local community this will be a night to gather together and celebrate what is wonderful about Hawke’s Bay.
