The Band has always promoted New Zealand composers and guest international composers with some 90-plus commissioned compositions and arrangements in the band's library.
For our Thursday, October 12 performance at the Rogue & Vagabond, we will perform material from composers such as Oscar Laven, Rodger Fox, Neil Watson, Matt Harris and Sir Dave Dobbyn to name but a few.
This performance by The Rodger Fox Big band is part of our fundraising effort towards representing New Zealand at the Jazz Education Network conference in New Orleans in January 2024.
