NZ's greatest miler race, The Great Southern Alps Miler is 100 miles of some the most sublime and superb big mountain landscapes NZ is world famous for. Set right in the heart of the Northern end of the iconic Southern Alps, behind Hanmer Springs. Mountain passes, high country lakes, beech clad braided river valleys and big tussock flats and the almighty Faerie Queen!
With an elevation gain of 3000m and an average elevation of 825m (max point just over 1300m) all on high country single track this is New Zealands miler!
