Our Gin and Tonic Experience at Ahipao Cafe and Bar combines the best of both worlds and a great way to enjoy the start to your magical day on Waiheke Island. Ahipao is a beautiful Waiheke cafe located right on the banks of Waiheke Island and a few minutes walk across the green from the Matiatia ferry terminal.
You are greeted with a glass of bubbles and then sit back, relax and enjoy our Gin and Tonic Experience where we will immerse you into the wonderful world of gin. We will guide you through the botanical plants and spices which are used to create gin.
We will invite you to fashion your own two gin creations, under our guidance, to sip while enjoying the views from looking back to the Skytower in Auckland. This event is perfect for individuals, couples, family groups and people wanting an artisan day out on Waiheke Island.
Afterwards, enjoy the sumptuous tasting platters and you are then free to explore the island or stay and enjoy their cocktail list.
