We're excited to welcome back Francisca to share her love of embroidery.
She is passionate about teaching and keeping these traditions alive.
Location: Creative Campus
Cost: $95 (includes 2 sessions)
Ages: 14+
Tenango is a Mexican Embroidery technique. It is a style full of vibrant colours and nature inspired.designs.
In this Workshop you will learn about the origins of this type of embroidery and go through each technique: the Mexican stitches, and some tricks and tips.
The workshop is run over 2 sessions (7 & 14 May) allowing you the time to learn, ask questions and make a good start on the project (maybe even finish it!).
You will receive a full kit with all the materials required to complete a beautiful embroidery project that you can keep and take home.

"I am a freelance designer and artist. A few years ago I discovered a passion for embroidery. I have explored different types and techniques and over time I have started teaching and sharing my passion with others."
