Te Matau a Māui Māori Business Network Matariki Breakfast

Te Mātau a Māui Māori Business Network is proud to bring a series of kaupapa Māori events to support the development and growth of Māori Businesses in the Hawkes Bay region.

We are delighted to host the first of seven events for the māori lunar year with the upcoming matariki māori business breakfast.

Matariki is a time for us to reflect as we draw upon the learnings of the past to plan for a prosperous future. Joining us for this momentous occasion is Ratahi Cross and Mavis Mullins. Each speaking into the meaning of the whakatauki Te Titiro Whakamuri Kokiri Whakamua and sharing their wisdom on how we can collectively recover and rebuild following unforeseen events like Cyclone Gabrielle.

This kaupapa will also present Ngā Whetu o Matariki awards acknowledging Māori businesses who contributed significantly to support vulnerable whanau who were impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle.
