Tai chi for Health classes running weekly from Friday 13th January 2023. All welcome, any fitness level - can even do this seated. No special equipment or clothes required (flat safe footwear and loose clothes easy to move in are recommended). Tai chi is an ancient practice designed for improving strength, flexibility and balance. Tai chi for Health is a specially designed form that has been proven to reduce stress, improve balance and have positive benefits for many conditions from high blood pressure to diabetes and arthritis. Everyone works to their own level and fun and laughter are required. Your instructor is a Certified trainer with nearly 40 years tai chi experience and 6 years tai chi teaching experience. I am a member of the Tai Chi for Health Community NZ Inc and the Tai Chi for Health institute (the International body of tai chi instructors) and adhere to their Code of Ethics and best practice guidelines.
Other classes are: Tuesdays 5.30pm in Church of Christ Hall, Marewa; Wednesdays 10am in Rec Room of Willowbank retirement Village, Napier and Fridays 9.30am Meeanee Hall Gavin Black Street, Meeanee. Feel free to just drop in on any of these or call/txt me 0274382467
